In Esposende, beside the beach, Rotopile built the foundation for a two-storey concrete house, on ground of dune sands.
55 helical piles were installed, in Ø114.3 × 8.0 mm tube, each with three helices and 5.5 metres long, anchoring the foundation in the dune sands. Turned in by rotation, with no excavation, the house could be founded with minimal disturbance on this sandy coastal ground.
