A general raft on 49 helical piles for a house with a pool, in sands.
In Esposende, Rotopile built the indirect foundation for a single-family house, with a swimming pool, using a general raft supported on helical piles.
49 helical piles were installed, in Ø114.3 × 8.0 mm tube, with lengths between 7 and 9.5 metres matched to the ground. Depending on the load capacity needed at each point, piles with one, two or three Ø250 mm helices were used, anchoring the foundation in the sand layers.
Turned in by rotation, with no excavation and no open bores, the piles gave a fast foundation well suited to the sands, beneath the raft of the house and the pool.
